Amazon - delivering all products during lock-down 4.0 (except in containment zones)

Starting Today Monday 18 May , Amazon has started delivering all of its products which were stopped since lock-down has started.

Amazon has announced that it is accepting orders on all goods across the country. As long as you are not in a containment zone, you can order non-essentials from Amazon. Moreover, the company is also accepting ‘Pay on Delivery’ in most of these locations.

Today I have ordered lot of non-essential items from Amazon which were there in my cart since late March the lock-down started.

The Indian government implemented a lock-down due to Coronavirus pandemic back in late March. The lockdown effectively banned e-commerce companies from shipping orders for goods that were not ‘essential’.

Seems like, life is returning back to normal but off-course in bit weird way where we have to follow few restrictions
